Quick-bite Asian spots, food courts and asian fast-food counters are built for speed: order at the counter, pay up front, and food usually comes out within a few minutes. Combo meals with a main, a side and a drink are common and generally the best value. Food courts and food halls group several counters under one roof and let you mix orders from different vendors at shared seating, which is useful for groups with different cravings. Noodle shops and dumpling counters often sell by the dozen or by weight rather than as fixed plates, so check the board before ordering. Most of these spots take cards and mobile pay, and tipping is optional at counter service, though a jar for the staff is common.

Hours are published for 7 days a week. On most of those days it is open 8 am–9 pm. Los Angeles is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Los Angeles follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

★★★★☆ Great experience at Maccheroni Republic. The food was delicious, the restaurant and restrooms were very clean, and the space is wheelchair accessible. Our server, Carlos, was incredibly attentive, friendly, and helpful throughout the meal. The flan was outstanding — probably the best I’ve ever had. Extremely creamy and absolutely delicious. The only reason I’m not giving 5 stars is the Wi-Fi situation. I asked for the password and was told it could not be provided to customers, which felt a little unusual for a sit-down restaurant nowadays. Overall, excellent food and service. Definitely worth visiting — especially for the flan.🍮

Our experience at the grand central market was great. The fact that you can eat from different cultures in just one spot is great! We tried the Donut Man, Knead Noods, Sticky Rice and about 2 or 3 more👍. You get a big portion for a reasonable price. There is inside seating and a bit of outside seating, but inside is better because you have massive ceiling fans. In the rush hours, it is packed, so there will be no tables left and a wait time.

Super fun vibe and the food was delicious and fresh. I would come back for sure. There is something for everyone. Rminded me of Spirited Away with all the food booths. There is literally anything and everything you want to eat. Went at lunch time and one of our group ate Italian and two of us had Thai. The food was hot and fresh with ample servings. The crab fried rice was enough for two people and we also had delicious chicken with sticky noodles. The flavor was perfect.

We had vouchers to use at Grand Central Market, and we were so glad we did! There are so many food options, which made it perfect for our large group with a variety of dietary restrictions. Everyone was able to find something they enjoyed. I highly recommend the lobster roll — it was absolutely delicious. If you’re on a budget, the $5 tacos are a fantastic deal and honestly more than enough for a full meal. The donuts were amazing, the smoothies were just as delicious, and the wine vendors were wonderful. Since we weren’t able to receive change back on our vouchers, they were kind enough to top off our glasses, which we truly appreciated. We had a large crowd with lots of vouchers, and every vendor we interacted with was incredibly patient and friendly. The overall experience was welcoming and enjoyable from start to finish. If we’re ever back in the area, we will definitely make sure to get vouchers again. I highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a great variety of food options in one spot!

Grand Central Market is such a cool spot with tons of food options all in one place. The energy is always lively, and there’s something for everyone no matter what you’re craving. It’s a great place to explore, try different vendors, and just enjoy the atmosphere. I had the ramen and chicken teriyaki, and both were really good. The ramen was flavorful and comforting, and the chicken teriyaki was cooked perfectly with great taste. Definitely worth it if you’re hungry and want something satisfying. It can get busy, but that’s part of the experience. If you’re in downtown LA, this place is a must visit!
